Question 1

What is VAI.me and how does it work?

Accepted Answer

VAI.me (Verified Agencies Index) is a directory of agencies. You can browse profiles, read client reviews and request a quote directly from an agency. Agencies get a free profile and can earn a Verified badge by proving they own their website.

Question 2

How do I get started as a business looking for an agency?

Accepted Answer

Browse the directory and request a quote from any agency profile. You don't need an account for either.

Question 3

Is VAI.me free to use?

Accepted Answer

Yes! VAI.me is completely free for businesses looking for agencies. You can browse, search, and connect with agencies at no cost. We generate revenue through premium services offered to agencies.

Question 4

How can my agency get listed on VAI.me?

Accepted Answer

It's free and self-serve. Create your agency profile in a couple of minutes, then prove you control your domain — embed our badge or a link, add a DNS TXT record, or add a verification meta tag to your site — and we confirm it automatically. No documents to submit, no application queue.

Question 5

What are the requirements to become a verified agency?

Accepted Answer

Just two things: an agency profile, and proof that you control your website's domain (via our badge or link, a DNS TXT record, or a verification meta tag). Verification is free and earned through domain ownership — not a paid review. Note that the Verified badge confirms domain ownership and identity; it is not a quality ranking or endorsement.

Question 6

What are the benefits of being listed on VAI.me?

Accepted Answer

A free Verified badge and SEO-indexed profile, a do-follow backlink to your own site, embeddable credibility widgets (badge, profile card, and reviews) you can drop onto your website, review collection, and client inquiries delivered straight to your inbox. Paid plans add inquiry routing to your CRM/Slack, white-label embeds, and advanced analytics.

Question 7

How do I know if an agency is right for my project?

Accepted Answer

Each agency profile includes detailed information about their services, expertise, past work, client reviews, and pricing ranges. You can also request proposals from multiple agencies to compare approaches and costs.

Question 8

Can I get help choosing the right agency for my needs?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Agency profiles show their services, past work, client reviews and pricing where the agency has shared them, so you can compare and shortlist. When you find a good fit, request a quote directly from that profile to start the conversation.

Question 9

What should I include in my project brief?

Accepted Answer

A good project brief should include: project goals and objectives, target audience, budget range, timeline, specific requirements or preferences, examples of work you admire, and any technical specifications.

Question 10

What does your verification process involve?

Accepted Answer

You prove you control your domain in one of three ways — embed our badge or link, add a DNS TXT record, or add a verification meta tag to your homepage — and we confirm it automatically, then re-check periodically. If the proof disappears, the badge is paused. The Verified badge confirms domain ownership and identity; it is not a quality endorsement.

Question 11

How long does the verification process take?

Accepted Answer

Usually about a minute. Once you've added your badge or link, DNS record, or meta tag, click “Check now” and we confirm it right away — an automatic daily check also picks up anything added later. There's no review queue and no waiting days.

Question 12

Can verification status be revoked?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We re-check every Verified badge automatically each day. If an agency's proof of ownership (our badge or a link on their site, a meta tag, a DNS record, or a work email at their domain) stops checking out for seven days in a row, the badge is removed. We also remove it for fraud or breaking our terms.

Question 13

What are the costs for agencies to use VAI.me?

Accepted Answer

We offer a free listing with a free Verified badge for every agency. Paid plans start at $29/month (Premium — route inquiries to your CRM/Slack/webhook and white-label your embeds) and $99/month (Enterprise — team seats, priority placement, and unlimited scale). Launch promotion: the first 50 Premium customers can apply code FOUNDER50 at checkout to lock in $19/mo for life (~1/3 off).

Question 14

How are reviews and ratings managed?

Accepted Answer

Reviews are submitted through an agency's review link. Our team checks every review before it's published, and we never show reviewers' contact details. A Verified badge is about website ownership, not reviews.

Question 15

What if I'm not satisfied with an agency I found through VAI.me?

Accepted Answer

We don't mediate business relationships, but we take reports seriously. Contact us and we'll look into it. We can remove listings or reviews that break our terms.

Question 16

Can I update my agency profile information?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Agencies can log into their dashboard to update profile information, add new portfolio items, manage services offered, update pricing, and modify business details.

Question 17

How do I leave a review for an agency?

Accepted Answer

Agencies share a review link (vai.me/review/their-name) with their clients. Open it, rate the agency and write about your experience. Our team checks each review before it appears on the profile.

Question 18

What types of agencies are listed on VAI.me?

Accepted Answer

We list agencies across various specialties including digital marketing, web development, design, branding, PR, consulting, and more. Our directory includes agencies of all sizes across a dozen service categories.

Question 19

How can I improve my agency's visibility on the platform?

Accepted Answer

To improve visibility: complete your profile 100%, regularly update your portfolio, maintain high ratings through excellent client service, respond promptly to inquiries, consider premium placement options.

Question 20

Do you charge commissions on projects?

Accepted Answer

No, we do not take commissions from projects or deals made through our platform. Agencies pay subscription fees for premium features, but we don't take a percentage of their project revenues.
