The rules for using VAI.me: what we provide, what we expect from you, and the limits of our responsibility.

1. Who we are and agreeing to these terms

VAI.me (the Verified Agencies Index) is operated by GM Sunshine, New Castle, Delaware, United States (“we”, “us”). By using VAI.me you agree to these terms and to our Privacy policy. If you use VAI.me for a business, you confirm you can bind that business to these terms. You must be at least 18.

2. What VAI.me is

VAI.me is a directory of agencies. Buyers can browse profiles, read reviews and send a quote request to an agency. Agencies can list themselves for free, earn a Verified badge, embed our widgets on their own website, and buy paid plans with extra features. We are not a party to any work, contract or payment between a buyer and an agency.

3. Listings

  • Agencies are responsible for keeping their profile accurate and for having the right to publish everything on it, including logos, project images and client names.
  • Some listings were created from information agencies publish themselves and are shown as unclaimed. The agency can claim its listing (after proving it controls the agency’s website or email domain) and then edit it, or ask us to change or remove it by emailing support@vai.me.
  • You may not claim or edit a listing for a business you don’t represent, or create several accounts to get around our rules.
  • We may edit, hide or remove any listing or content that breaks these terms or is inaccurate.

4. The Verified badge

The Verified badge means the agency proved it controls the website on its profile, by one of: a work email at that domain, our badge or a link on the site, a meta tag on its homepage, or a DNS record. It is free and re-checked automatically every day; if the proof stops checking out for seven days in a row, the badge is removed. The badge is not an endorsement. We don’t audit an agency’s work, finances, licences or legal standing. See how verification works.

5. Quote requests

  • A quote request goes only to the agency you chose. If the agency manages its profile, it reaches their team; if the listing is unclaimed, we forward it to the business email on the listing.
  • We don’t guarantee that an agency will reply, how quickly, or the outcome of any work. Check an agency yourself before you hire it.
  • Requests are routed to the chosen agency on every plan, including Free. We don’t promise any number of requests.
  • Agencies may use a buyer’s details only to answer that buyer’s request.

6. Reviews

  • Reviews must describe a real experience with the agency. Fake, paid-for, swapped or self-written reviews are not allowed, and may lead to the review, the listing and the account being removed.
  • Our team checks every review before it is published and may decline or remove reviews that break these rules.
  • Agencies may publicly reply to reviews of their agency.

7. Your conduct

Use VAI.me lawfully. Don’t post anything illegal, misleading, abusive or infringing; don’t send spam through the platform; and don’t scrape or bulk-download the site outside our public pages and feeds, or try to get around rate limits or security.

8. Your content

You keep ownership of what you post. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, reformat and share it on VAI.me and in our widgets and listings, for as long as it is on the service. VAI.me’s own design, software and name belong to us. To report content that infringes your rights, email support@vai.me.

9. Paid plans

  • Paid plans (Premium and Enterprise) are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, through Stripe, and renew automatically until you cancel. Current prices and features are on the pricing page.
  • You can cancel any time from your billing settings; the plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for. Periods are not pro-rated.
  • We offer a 5-day money-back guarantee on your first payment; see the Refund policy. Nothing here limits refund rights you have under consumer law.
  • We’ll give existing subscribers at least 30 days’ notice by email before a price change, which takes effect from the next renewal.

10. Ending your use

You can stop using VAI.me and ask us to close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account, or remove a listing, that breaks these terms; for anything other than serious or repeated breaches we’ll tell you why first. If you think we got it wrong, email support@vai.me.

11. Disclaimers

VAI.me is provided “as is”. Listings, reviews and projects come from agencies, buyers and public sources, and we don’t guarantee they are accurate or complete. We don’t guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that using it will bring you business.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, GM Sunshine and its owners, staff and contractors are not liable to you for any loss or damage of any kind arising from VAI.me, including direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill, and anything arising from dealings between buyers and agencies, listings, reviews or quote requests. This applies however the claim arises (contract, negligence or otherwise), even if we were told the loss was possible.

Where the law does not allow liability to be excluded entirely, our total liability for all claims is limited to the lowest amount the law permits. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory consumer rights, such as a refund under our Refund policy.

You agree to cover GM Sunshine’s reasonable costs, including legal fees, arising from claims caused by your content, your use of VAI.me or your breach of these terms.

13. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved by binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, held in Delaware and conducted in English, except that either side may bring an individual claim in small-claims court or ask a court for urgent relief. Nothing here removes rights you have under the consumer laws of the country where you live.

14. Changes and contact

We may update these terms. When we do, we change the date at the top; if a change is significant we tell account holders by email before it takes effect. Questions: support@vai.me.
