Spacey Studios designed and developed a custom WordPress website for Vermont Secondary College, creating a modern, accessible and easy-to-manage digital platform for students, families, staff and the broader school community. The project began with discovery, content planning and information architecture to restructure a large volume of school information into clearer, more intuitive pathways. We then developed wireframes and a contemporary interface aligned with the College’s brand, with a strong focus on usability, legibility and WCAG-led accessibility considerations. Built on WordPress, the website includes flexible page templates, drag-and-drop editing, custom user permissions, full-screen navigation, site-wide search and breadcrumb navigation. We also managed legacy URL mapping, cloud hosting migration, security hardening, performance optimisation and SEO foundations, before providing staff training and a tailored admin handbook. The final website gives Vermont Secondary College a secure, reliable and scalable platform that is easier for visitors to navigate and simpler for non-technical staff to manage internally.
